Ok, I know this post is long overdo but hey better late than never! Life really does get crazy when your baby turns into a toddler! :) Anyways, as I reflect on how fast my daughter is growing each day I realize that her toys, interests and needs constantly change. In just one short year she has already evolved into the most smart little girl and along the way I found so many items really helped me over her months transitioning from baby to toddler! So below is my top 10 list of Kennedy and I's items we loved from 7 to 12 months!
1. Ergo 360 $185: So as she grew obviously she gained weight and my stretch wrap no longer worked for carrying her, so we transitioned with the Ergo 360! And wow what a difference it made. I love the 360 because she can face in our out and on my back as well as on my hip! Yes the price tag is maybe a little hefty but when you have a little one who wants to be held all the time it was the only thing that helped me get things around the house done or even on the go!
2. Fisher Price 3-1 Bounce-Stride & Ride Elephant $26: This was a great toy that we bought for her for Christmas she is 17 months now and still loves it! When she was younger she loved to sit on it and ride it. Then when she began to learn to walk it was the perfect toy to push around allowing her to gain balance and stamina! Now that she is walking she still loves to push it around, bounce on it and ride it! Definitely a must have!
3. Feeding Pouch Spoons $3: So for anyone that knows Kennedy knows that she LOVES and I mean LOVES pureed pouches! With that said these attachable spoons were a life savor when we were on the go which is basically all the time! Now she can just hold the pouches and suck on them but when she couldn't the spoon was such a great item to have!
4. Swim School Float $20: I am a total advocate that your child is never to young to learn to swim! With that said I started taking Kennedy in the pool at about 2 months old! She absolutely loved it well that's as long as the water was to the temperature she liked! :) I did not do a swim floaty right away but as soon as she could sit up on her own i stuck her in one and she totally loves it! I love this particular floaty because it distracts her if she does not want to be in the water at that moment and it also allows her to have a little freedom! Her daddy and i always pass her back and forth in it and spin her around! :)
5. Aveeno sunscreen $9: I am so picky when it comes to using product on Kennedy since she has super sensitive skin! This sunscreen is the best for sure; not irritating and really protects her skin! Must have!
6. Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Smart Stages Crawl Around Car $60: This was a Christmas gift from her Dolly and wow one of the best toys! From 6 months on she is still totally amused with it and plays with it almost daily. Really a great toy that she has grown with because of all the different features.
7. TinyDiner Placemat $10 and Floppy Seat Ultra Plush $50: Well if you have a toddler you know that eating time can be a task especially when you are at a restaurant. Luckily this placemat has been a life saver. I am able to put her food right on it and not have to worry about her eating off of a dirty table or on a plate that she will knock over or throw down! Also, I am all about anything to make her more comfy and keep the germs away so this highchair cover comes in handy almost daily especially when shopping at grocery stores!
8. PotteryBarn Chair $100: I am not sure if it's because she thinks she is a total princess but this girl loves her custom chair. She always eats her snacks in it or watches cartoons. If she could I swear she would take it in the car with her. It has been great for the days she does not want to sit in her high chair and eat which is like everyday now. :) She prefers to be in a big girl chair and be on the move like most toddlers!
9. Mini Melissa Shoes $65: So as it was time for Kennedy to learn to walk I was all about finding her the perfect shoes to learn to walk in that were functional and fashionable. I tried Stride Rite seeming that I was told these were the best, however after looking at their shoe options I was totally disappointed in the styles and colors. Fortunately, we discovered Mini Melissa's which are not only comfy with extra cushion in them, easy to clean and they smell extra yummy they were/are very easy to walk in with a good amount of flexibility! Yes, the price is a little high but hey with that many pro's you can't beat it!
10. Fisher Price Roar 'n Ride Lion $30: For those long car rides or just the days she does not want to be in the car this little lion is awesome! He keeps her busy in the back and mommy happy in the front! :)
